ARCHITECT ALESSANDRA

CASAGLI

copy.jpg

With over 20 years of experience in architecture and interiors, she offers services ranging from architectural design to project management and interior design for new builds and renovations in residential, commercial, and commercial settings. She pays great attention to detail and designs and creates custom furniture, lamps, and accessories. An architect shares a common trait with a skilled tailor who creates a bespoke suit: "It's important to understand the practical and aesthetic needs of each individual, guiding them to achieve the desired result." The same applies to the object/building being worked on, deciding whether to follow tradition or create architectural contrasts that could enhance its character. She shows great interest in the concept of "made to measure," for furnishings and lighting systems, experimenting with new materials, and creating modern and non-modern spaces, evoking the client's memories by suggesting and reusing forgotten objects. She is passionate about photography, art, theater, cinema, dance, fashion, philosophy, and psychology.

Alessandra Casagli was born in Siena in 1972. She studied Architecture at the University of Florence; during her studies, she focused on local historical architecture, producing two publications.

Her interests also extend to the field of design and she had an exciting experience that brought her closer to the world of interior design by collaborating with the Spring Design studio in Florence. At the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, she had the opportunity to interview internationally renowned designers such as Fabio Novembre.

In 2002, he graduated with honors in Architectural Restoration with a thesis entitled "The Problem of Replacement in Architectural Restoration" (Some Examples in Valdelsa). He obtained his professional qualification by registering with the Order of Architects (PPC) of the Province of Siena. He first worked at the "Architettando" studio, led by Architect Luciano Nencioni, in San Gimignano (SI), then at the Marco Giglioli Architecture Studio in Castelfiorentino (FI), where he gained a deep understanding of the essence and complexity of the freelance profession. He then decided to establish his own studio in Poggibonsi in 2007.

The assignments come mostly from private individuals and companies who appreciate certain distinctive qualities of his work: passion for one's work, empathy.

I thank those who allowed me to become who I am and do what I love.
